THANK JESUS that the winter is FINALLLLLLYYY ending for me. JUST as it was starting to get warm in Buffalo, NY it was time to get to NZ into another winter! Auckland's island weather is so fickle that we can have all 4 seasons in one day. No joke!!! Although there is no snow Auckland, the winter is quite brutal. So much rain and coldness. No central heating. Yea, NO central heating or double pane windows. So the houses are so exposed to outdoor conditions which = cold and wet... all the time. I kinda had a hard time coping with the cold. I wore a lot of layers all the time. But the cold rain has silently seeped into my psychey and I so glad to shake the winter blues!!

Saturday was the first time I have been to Piha Beach and its GORGEOUS. I can't believe that I can just drive 45 minutes and be at this beautiful place. Glad God called me to New Zealand, haha!! PERKS! ;-)
