SPORT in Kiwiland

So sports are a big deal here. In my attempt to assimilate, I have excitedly jumped on the band wagon.  Last week I bonded with some new friends watching New Zealand's ALL WHITES play in the FIFA World Cup. It's only the second time in NZ HISTORY they have made it to the world cup. Last night's game (or this morning)  I walked down to my neighbors' house at 2 AM to watch it with the family & it ended in a draw.  Needless to say its was a disappointment they didn't make it to the next round. BUT NZ holds its head HIGH, because they drew all 3 games, NO LOSSES in the world cup! AND they came in above Italy, the champs. Woot woot NZ!
