I have been to the airport 17 times, SEVENTEEN times (!!), in the past year! Hellos, goodbyes, holidays and the like! However, this most recent trips were EXTRA special because some extra special packages were coming my way for my birthday! COURTNEY AND KRISTI! My beloved friends from youth group/college days in Buffalo. FLIP. So much LOVE and excitement!

I am so thankful to God to these ladies and their friendship over the past 12 years. God used them SO instrumentally in my life; Kristi was there at that camp in 8th grade when I decided I was gonna follow God whole-heartedly- we even skipped breakfast together to start reading our Bibles (so naughty, I know, ha). Courtney was there for me our first year in college and her heart was so for the Lord, she naturally challenged my walk with God at a time when I so easily could have slipped into the crowd and fallen away. They have been there for me over the years during hard stuff, fun times, giving good and godly advice, always loving and encouraging each other in our faith walks. Having them in NZ was very significant to me, because they are such an important part of my journey. And we really got to celebrate how God has lead each of our lives! ...and what they heck, they are SO MUCH FUN!! Woohooo! So many laughs! My heart is so encouraged by their visit! :)
