Interviewed @ Eastern Hills

Pastor Pat Jones interviewed me this morning in church (Eastern Hills Wesleyan- my home church in Buffalo) ... asked about my unique experience with traveling to over 40 different churches this past yr and half. How people expressed worship to God in their context- with their people in their style & meeting places, and was the central message the same? I've been to really different meeting places: traditional churches (small and mega), coffee shops, bar, restaurant, houses, schools... and some were super expressive, or laid back, wrote worship songs to hip-hop beats, worked with the homeless, lived in the suburbs... all kinds. Although the context changes, the one thing that was unchanging amidst all the varying methodology was that the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST was the central message being preached. And if Christ is being taught, then we are all on the same team and we should encourage one another (no matter where we meet) to continue on in the faith! (He then preached 'Joy in the Midst...Of Circumstances' using Philippians 1:12-30) The recording will probly be up later this week at Easternhillschurch.org
