St. Patrick, who was known as Maewyn Succat, was a missionary in Ireland and he used the 3 leaf clover/ shamrock to hep the people of Ireland understand God. Just as the shamrock has three seperate leaves, it is one unit, God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit yet is ONE God. :-) Pass this along and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
